Change the SMTP Port for your mailbox - iOS (iPhone, iPad)

This article will step you through how to update the SMTP port used by the Mail app in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

- Start by opening the Settings app
- Tap the Mail item, then tap the Accounts item
- Tap your mailbox from the list provided
- Tap on Account
- Under the Outgoing Mail Server heading, tap on the SMTP item
- Tap the server listed under Primary Server
- Check and update the following:
- Use SSL: On
- Port: 587
- Tap Done in the top-right to confirm the changes
