Change the SMTP Port for your mailbox - Android Samsung Email App

This article will step you through how to update the SMTP port used by the Samsung email app in Android.

- Start by opening the Samsung Email app
- Tap the Menu icon, then tap the Settings icon
- Tap your mailbox from the list provided
- Scroll downwards, and tap on Server Settings
- Under the Outgoing server heading, check and update the following:
- Security Type: TLS or TLS (Accept all certificates)
- Port: 587
- Require authentication to send emails: On
- Tap Done at the bottom to confirm the changes
